BE Real

Prayer is the context for this parable, but “being real” is the parable’s theme. The heart of the story is not about talking to God, but about “being real” in the presence of God and others. Jesus encourages us to “be real” by:

- Taking a “humble” posture in life,

- Being “honest” about our issues, struggles and burdens, and

- By acknowledging “our need” for God’s transformative touch.
