PRAY FIRST

here at k1 we are a pray first church

Before we do anything, we pray.
Whatever we face in life, we pray.
In order to partner with God to help usher in His kingdom here on earth as it is in Heaven,
we pray.

HERE AT K1 WE ARE A PRAY FIRST CHURCH

Before we do anything, we pray.
Whatever we face in life, we pray.
In order to partner with God to help usher in His kingdom here on earth as it is in Heaven,
we pray.

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

1 Chronicles 7:14

21 Days of Prayer

Every January and August, we gather as a congregation for 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting. If you sense God has more for your life, 21 Days of Prayer is a great place to start believing Him for all that He has for you. As you practice seeking Him first, He will move on your behalf like never before. You will start to see the power of prayer impact your relationships, work, family, and every area of your life. We would love for you to be part of 21 Days of Prayer.

WHAT IS FASTING?

"Refusing to receive something from the world so that I can receive more from God."

Soul Cleansing

Fasting can work as a way to rid ourselves of worldly influences that have gained too much authority in our lives or become idols for us. Committed restriction can help us to cut things out of our lives.

Deeper Praise

In the absence of what we are fasting, we experience longing. Instead of turning to some "thing" to fill us, we turn to God. This act helps remind us of God's constant work in our lives as He provides and cares for us. Praise God!

New Desire for God

When we acknowledge through fasting that we need God to live, and to live more abundantly, we can begin to desire God in a new ay.

Sensitivity to God's Voice

When we remove distractions in our lives, we become more sensitive to His voice. Then, when God speaks in the midst of chaos, we will still be able to pick out His voice and know how what He wants us to do because we have trained our ears to hear form Him.
