3/60 CHALLENGE
4 Abide in me as I abide in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing." John 15:4-5 NRSV
MORNING
Before we get out of bed, say: I will abide in Jesus today. But, Holy Spirit, I need your help to do that. So, I am asking Holy Spirit to abide in me and guide me as I move through the first part of my day.

MIDDAY
Take a breath and say this: I will abide in Jesus today. But, Holy Spirit, I need your help to do that. So, I am asking Holy Spirit to abide in me and guide me as I move through the second part of my day.

EVENING
Take a moment to reflect on your day and pray: Jesus, I confess and repent from ___________ today. I want to take a moment to thank you for helping me abide in you and for you abiding in me today, which helped me __________. Please be with me as I end my day and give me peaceful sleep tonight.
Along with connecting to Jesus through prayer throughout the day day, we are also inviting you to commit to reading the gospel of Matthew together over the next 60 days, which will help us learn what drives Jesus, what Jesus' heart attitudes are, and how Jesus thinks, speaks and lives.
We challenge you not to read the Bible on your phone; instead, read it from an actual book. As you read it, highlight or underline the words or phrases that speak to you and contemplate them.
