4 “‘These are the Lord’s appointed festivals, the sacred assemblies you are to proclaim at their appointed times: 5 The Lord’s Passover begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month. 6 On the fifteenth day of that month the Lord’s Festival of Unleavened Bread begins; for seven days you must eat bread made without yeast. 7 On the first day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. 8 For seven days present a food offering to the Lord. And on the seventh day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.’”
Leviticus 23:4-8

This year, you have been asked to bring "something" to share with your table. This can be a side dish, a main dish, an appetizer, a salad - whatever you would like to bring! We recognize that this is open-ended and that each table may have an interesting assortment of food options but the goal is simply to have "something" to eat while you gather.  We believe that having food to eat helps people settle in and feel more relaxed so that they may have deeper conversations and interact with one another.

(If your small group plans to sit together, you can converse and create a plan for your meal.)

The week of unleavened bread is a time to seek and reflect on any sin that may be active in your life. For one week you will eat nothing with leaven in it. Each day between our Passover and Resurrection Sunday, eat one piece of unleavened bread while you take the time to repent from it (turning away from it) and receive God's forgiveness - made possible through Jesus' (sinless) body being broken or us.
